As gardeners, we all have our favorite tools. For our Garden Gear on-line catalogue we have chosen a few tools that we use in the garden and couldn’t live without. We highly recommend each of these items and plan on adding more garden gear and tools as we find them and they pass muster in our gardens.

ARS Pruner - $18.95

This small, curved blade pruner is ideal for cutting roses, vegetables and bonsai. The one-inch blades are made from Japanese high carbon tool steel for clean and accurate cuts and the rounded tips fit easily into your pocket without poking through. I still use the original pair that I bought 15 years ago for cutting roses, roots, wire, and anything else in the garden that needs pruning.  I have dropped them in mudholes; lost them in the garden (and found them a week later); and have never sharpened them. Dollar for dollar, the best pruner I own. 6 inches overall; handle is soft PVC over steelcore.

 

Flori-Fix - $13.95

Flori-Fix comes as a 32.5 ft roll of green foam-covered galvanized wire. The foam is soft and ties roses, tomatoes, and other plants securely without damaging tender stems. Cut off whatever length you need with pruners and use like a twist tie.  Flori-fix can be tied, untied, and retied repeatedly – ideal for growing plants.  We first saw this product in use in the stunning rose garden in the Montreal Botanical Garden where all the climbing roses were tied to large pergolas with Flori-Fix. We tie off our climbers the same way and even stake our tomatoes with it, too. It lasts for years. 32.5 ft roll

 

CobraHead Weeder and Cultivator - $24.95

CobraHeadThe CobraHead is a “steel fingernail” that shaves off weeds at or below ground level. Use it for planting, transplanting, cultivating, making seed furrows, digging bulb holes and scrapping mud off other garden tools.  The soft handle is made from recycled plastic and flax and feels comfortable in either or both hands. Keep it handy as you will find yourself reaching for the CobraHead all the time.

How to Order

You have three ways to order:

  1. Click the Paypal button and a PayPal cart will be created for you. You have the option of paying by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or your PayPal account.
  2. E-mail us at contactus@rosesolutions.net with a list of the items you wish to order. We will e-mail you an invoice. When we receive your check, we will process your order.
  3. Click on the Mail-In Order Form. Print the form, fill it in and mail it along with a check made out to RoseSolutions and mail order form and check to RoseSolutions, 64 Forbes St. East Providence, RI 02915. (RI residents add 7% sales tax)

All payments must be made in US Dollars.

We ship by USPS and UPS, whichever is most suitable. Orders are processed within 2 business days. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will place it on backorder and notify you when to expect delivery.

Returns: If you receive a defective item, email us within 30 days at contactus@rosesolutions.net  and we will send you an authorization code and instructions on how to return an item.  If you wish to return an item that is not defective, you will be responsible for shipping costs to return the item. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed. There are no returns accepted after 30 days.
